Co-curricular (CCA) programme
The aim of the CCA Programme is not just an add-on to their experience in an area of interests but also the development and practice of values to form sound character; to grow their 21st century competencies and to exercise their leadership skills within CCA and in school. We offer 17 CCAs in the various CCA clusters: Uniform Groups, Performing Arts Groups, Sports and Clubs and Societies. CCA is the basic family unit in the school and every student must be in a family for their entire time in the school to bond as friends, feel affiliated to the school and be rooted to Singapore. Learning Beyond Boundaries (LBB), which is carried by CCA clusters connects BLS students to a global network of schools through face-to-face cultural exchange and school immersion. Our students have the opportunity to interact with and learn from their peers in countries such as Thailand, Brunei, China, India and Japan. LBB seeks to develop students in the 21st century competencies, particularly, in gaining multi-cultural perspectives so they will thrive in an increasingly globalised world.
