Mission / Goals
CCE in BLS will equip every student with the necessary knowledge, skills and values to develop them into confident leaders of empathy, who are guided by sound values and principles and actively contribute to the school, community and nation.
The components of CCE comprises of CCE lessons, school-based CCE and CCE Guidance Modules (Education and Career Guidance (ECG), Sexuality Education (SEd) and Cyber Wellness (CW)). In the CCE curriculum, students are developed through the formal and informal curriculum with the following outcomes in mind:
- To foster in students greater self‑awareness and social awareness;
- To develop skills in self‑management, relationship management and responsible decision making;
- To assist students to make informed educational career decisions and better life choices;
- To develop reflective thinkers;
- To facilitate inculcation of school’s core values: Wisdom, Harmony, Excellence and Respect
- To develop emotional intelligence.
- To inculcate a sense of rootedness to Singapore
